Florida Bar & Mental Health Evaluations

 

Applicants seeking admission to the Florida Bar may have concerns over mental health issues such as depression or substance abuse concerns such as alcohol dependency. 

As of March 21, 2019, the Florida Board of Bar Examiners (FBBE) will pay up to $3,000 per an independent evaluation to promote wellness and to eliminate stigma by encouraging applicants to seek diagnosis and tackle treatment headstrong. 

If your a Florida Bar applicant concerned about mental health or substance abuse issues being a substantial risk to the public and a limiting factor to practicing law in Florida, then Dr. Arias Shah can help perform an independent and confidential Mental Health evaluation.

Our evaluations and treatment plans include an analysis for past or current symptoms covering:
